CKX BATTERY KIT APEX CKX 599262

The APEX battery is specially designed to power the APEX goggles of the Titan AMS helmet.

Power Modes

When paired with the controller strap (Ref. 599259), this battery enables 4 power modes for the goggles:

• Maximum power for 10 minutes
• Continuous maximum power — 4.5 hours of battery life
• Continuous medium power — 6 hours of battery life
• Continuous minimum power — 8 hours of battery life

Charging

• Minimum charging requirement: 5V @ 2A
• Supports Power Delivery (PD) protocol (typically 5V @ 3A, 9V @ 2.22A, 12V @ 1.67A)
• Full charge can be completed in less than 2 hours

Additional Features

The APEX battery can also power other electrical accessories that are powered from either USB-C or RCA.

For USB-C devices, the APEX battery can supply either 5V, 9V or 12V and has a maximum power output of 18W.

Warnings

• Most accessories are designed for a voltage of 12V, while the APEX battery provides 7.2V. Some heating accessories may be slightly less warm than when powered by a 12V circuit.
• Current is intended to flow from USB-C to the RCA connector, not the other way around. Using this cable (599214) to attempt charging a USB-C device is not recommended.
