This controller strap for the APEX goggle allows you to control the heating power of your electrical lens mounted on your APEX goggle.

Power Modes

The controller strap has two main power modes:

• Battery powered (if plugged to an APEX battery or with a tension between 5-10V)
• Machine powered (if plugged directly to the electrical system of your machine, typically a 12V system)

Battery Power Mode

When paired with the APEX battery (Ref. 599261), the controller enables 4 power modes for the goggles:

• Maximum power for 10 minutes
• Continuous maximum power — 4.5 hours of battery life*
• Continuous medium power — 6 hours of battery life*
• Continuous minimum power — 8 hours of battery life*

Machine Power Mode

When plugged directly to your machine's electrical system, the APEX controller retains its three constant power levels (HIGH, MED and LOW) but turns on automatically at medium power when plugged to a powered RCA connector with more than 10V.

*Durations based on testing with the APEX battery. Other batterie may not achieve this duration or be compatible.
