The T-5 is designed to provide steering for a kicker motor on boats where transom space is lim-ited. Only 4.5” of space is needed to mount the drive unit between your main motor and kicker, the steering rod comes out the other side 13”. Installs easily on any kicker motor that has a threaded tilt-tube, and there is no need to drill holes in your transom.
The drive unit has a rugged internal motor that steers the kicker though the use of a push-button switch tethered to a 24' cable. Simply push one of the directional buttons and the T-5 will immediately respond, moving your kicker incrementally for precision control. For a dra-matic move, hold down the button to quickly move your kicker from full right to left in seconds to swiftly and safely make a hard turn. The drive unit and switch are powered by your boat’s 12-volt battery.
The 55-0503 has a white water-resistant Delrin housing and comes with stainless mounting hard-ware. You only need basic tools and about an hour to install the T-5. Drive Unit Dimensions 12” x 4.5”.
For the ultimate in control, consider add-ing the TrollMaster PRO Angler. This will allow you to wirelessly control your steering and your speed as well. The wireless remote shown here is powered by AA batteries and will easily fit in a pocket or can be worn on a lanyard around your neck.
