Installation can be done using relays or resistors.

Technical Information

Most motorcycles use bi-metallic relays where frequency depends on current flow. Changing turn signals may affect flashing speed.

• Electronic relay: stable frequency
• Mechanical relay: frequency varies with power

Check flashing speed after installation.

If replacing with incandescent bulbs: use same power rating as OEM.

If replacing with LED signals, two options:

• Install resistors in parallel:
• 4 signals ? Ref. 4298O
• 2 signals ? Ref. 5873O
• Kawasaki Z900/SE 2025 ? Ref. 22607O
• Replace relay with compatible unit

Note: resistors may disable hazard lights on some motorcycles.

Some motorcycles do not have an intermittent relay or use multiple relays.

Some LED turn signals may flash faster when first connected. Turn ignition off and on again to verify actual flashing rate.
