The Uflex RACKTECH2 is a complete rack and pinion steering system kit with an foot cable, one of the shorter runs in the RACKTECH2 lineup. It is well suited for compact outboard-powered boats where the helm sits close to the engine and a shorter cable path keeps the routing clean and the steering response crisp.

Like the rest of the RACKTECH 2.0 series, this kit uses a rack and pinion mechanism at the helm unit. That means direct, low-play steering with consistent feedback and good centering, which is a step up from rotary cable systems in terms of feel and precision. The complete kit includes the helm unit, steering cable, and end fittings, so everything works together out of the box without sourcing compatible components separately.

Designed for single outboard engine installations, the RACKTECH2 is built to Uflex's standard for corrosion resistance in saltwater environments. The hardware holds up through extended seasons of use without the play and slop that can develop in lower-grade steering systems over time.
